HalfWatchTuesday : We’ll stand by you…

Hello again watchfam and welcome again to another instalment of HalfWatchTuesday. Now, normally this is our platform to bring you watch related chat and paraphernalia. This week, however, due to the incidents occurring in the United States and around the world, we felt it inappropriate to discuss any such watch content when there are far more important issues arising over the last few days. I feel I speak for both myself and Omair when I say that we feel strongly against making or supporting any such political agendas or affiliations. Having said that, we did want to relay a message to indeed everyone. That we undeniably as a global society, must work towards equality for all within the human race. Perhaps most importantly, these issues should absolutely always be relevant, should always be enforced and those responsible for such atrocities should always be made accountable for their actions. Edmund Burke was correct when he stated ‘all that is necessary for evil to triumph is for good men (and women) to do nothing’ and we have to get better at not just standing idly by anymore.

Kicking off our top picks this week is a beauty by @brothersintimeuk showing off their stunning Explorer after what could be the greatest game of Peek-a-Boo ever!

Not only do we both love watches but coffee is also right up there on this list. Which is why @mr.c.mojo captures our eye with a lovely shot of his Tudor covered by his morning roast.

Scottish Watches and Bark and Jack

A wonderful Sinn shot by @girlslikewatchestoo showing just how fun reading can be with the right equipment.

Talk about two bites at the cherry! Second time lucky for @maarten_from_belgium who shows off a lovely daily carry, including his rugged Panerai.

If I’ve said it once, I’ve said it oh so many times, mood shots are the most difficult to get right. So, it doesn’t help seeing how effortlessly @watchmystage makes it look, gorgeously capturing his IWC pilot hiding in a jacket.

And above all, during these testing times and indeed any time, there is nothing more important than family. I’ve not been able to see my boys for almost 10 weeks, yet they are always on my mind and @myaffordablewatchcollection captures this thought beautifully, with his lovely Rotary on the wrist of something far more precious…

And that watchfam, is where I will leave you this week. And as always, please take care of yourselves and those whom you love.
