Welcome, welcome, welcome to the Scottish Watches podcast, episode 219. Three new Speed masters were released by Omega, and you would expect that we would have Dave(@floatlite) as co-host, but no. Today Katlen(@katlen.watches.life) from our favorite podcast, Tenn and Two (@tennandtwomedia), joins us so we can delve deep into these new releases. For a Daniel Wellington employee she knows allot about Planet Omega. We also talk about the new swatch watch celebrating us, which will be available for about 14 more days after this podcast goes out, the new Zenith chronograph A385 smoked dial, and the Ollech and Wajs Navi chron. As we go through the motion, we remember the good times and see how things have changed from 2019 to 2020, but one thing that hasn’t changed is our everlasting fear of speed masters that get too close to water.
If you are interested in listening to the John Cena v Ford talk, listen to another podcast we did Katlen in our 14th podcast. http://www.scottishwatches.co.uk/2019/03/04/scottish-watches-podcast-17-watch-rehab-smuggling-and-more-with-katlen-from-breitlex-constanmille-in-nashville/

Sometime after this podcast we will have pictures of the watch we launched with swatch worn by models. As you are waiting go listen to our podcast with the designer of the watch, Diana @dianaevansillustration, who did a fantastic job depicting Scottish watches and Scottish symbols. Thank you for listening, go follow us on our social media platforms and remember to also check out the girls at Tenn and Two @tennandtwomedia. Also go see our videos from both us and them on our respective YouTube channels. If there is one thing we want you to take away from this podcast, is that most chronographs out there have double or more water resistance then the speed master.
Got into the horological hobby only a few short years ago; but got, as us Scots like to say, “baw deep” pretty quickly. Thanks to buying a lemon of a Rolex he spent hours researching why his watch wasn’t working and along the way gained an interest in what makes them tick. He now runs the Scottish Watches website and keeps cohort Rick in check on the twice weekly Scottish Watches podcast.
