Yuri Gagarin. Yuri Gagarin – Wikipedia Factory produces watches under the new brand “Raketa” in honor of Yuri Gagarin’s space flight. Factory cuts the diamonds of the Great Imperial Crown in 1762.

Factory starts producing precision ruby stones for watch mechanisms in 1938.
The watch brand “Pobeda” is created by order of the Kremlin in April 1945.
