#Scottishwatches Week 9

Welcome back to the weekly column where we pick some of the best Instagram photos that you, the greatest readership in all of watch-dom, tagged with #scottishwatches. Keep tagging your best photos to be featured in the coming weeks. Let’s get into it!

Here is a shot from @j__watch featuring some lovely symmetry play with the Omega Railmaster, and like I always say, we just don’t see enough Skoda/Omega pairings these days.

We should probably photoshop in the Railmaster from above into this one, or maybe that’s just for the conductor. I digress. I’m sure @watchwayup’ s Zenith Defy is keeping excellent time as he waits to take a train to solve mysteries from a seedy office in 1940s Chicago.

Scottish Watches and TOCKR Watches

@time_to_lume perfectly captures a very perplexed cat, correctly wondering what kind of madman left his Black Bay Blue sitting in this crown-down position. I feel your pain, Captain Whiskers.

@aggressivetiminghabits follows up with the same crown-down madness but I will forgive it due to the lovely pink AnOrdain Model 1 and pastel strap combo, reminding us all that spring has nearly sprung.

@sr_watches makes the cut this week with a great shot of the Smith’s Commando that gets me on all levels. Cool watch? Check. Motorbikes? Check. Old vague gauges? Check. Well done.

@thekeylessworks tagged this great looking shot of the Sinn U50, a watch that I personally love on its own, but looks even better surrounded by the monochromatic hues of camera, speakers, and camp mugs.

@watchupwithyou gives us this splendid shot of the Lorier Falcon. A field-ish watch out in a snowy field. What else do you really need in life?

Last but not least, our very own @thewatchboxdiaries finishes the list with this great, 2-part capture of the Zelos Swordfish 40mm Bronze. Now all you need is that bronze bracelet…

That’s all for this week, keep up the excellent work and keep tagging those photos with #scottishwatches. I’m going to try to arrange a giveaway or two in the coming weeks as well, so stay tuned and thanks for reading!
