#Scottishwatches – Week #44

Hey watchfam! This past week had a lot of great shots from some awesome people using the hashtag #scottishwatches which made it even harder for me to decide on which were the best! How creative people make their shots always amaze me and give me so much inspiration. Here are a few that stood out above and beyond below:

First up is @frendymgee sharing his Nodus Retrospect with the salmon dial. I absolutely love how cool the salmon dial looks in every light and the fact that he color coordinated his nato strap to his sweater deserves a round of applause.

Next up is a stunning shot of the IWC Portugieser  chronograph from @watchnerdwannabe. Every time I see this green dial I cannot stop staring and the high polish finish gives it a perfect touch. Also this one is a pocket shot and everyone that has tries to do one knows how hard it is so very nicely done.

@moody.dials was feeling extra festive this week and gave us a spooky lit shot of his Seiko sarb033. I have always loved this specific Seiko for its great value and how well it looks as a dressier piece or just a casual piece paired with a nato.

@hendersonhorology  perfectly captures their speedy and got creative by putting it in a chestnut case. I don’t own a speedy yet, but shots like these make me want to get one as soon as possible!

Even though I have the same watch and this might make me a bit biased, but I really love @hacking_2nds Tudor Black Bay 36. This dial looks so good in any light but here he gave us a really awesome fall backdrop to put us in the fall mood. I’m sure the lume looked outstanding after spending time outside!

@chillinwitwatches caught my eye with this Zelos in how different the dial is and paired with great complimenting colors on the bezel. This Zelos Horizons 3 hander in Dusk Colorway is very nicely done and has just enough orange to give it a great statement and catch your eye passing by.

@agressivetiminghabits have us multiple, and not to mention adorable shots, of their Halios Fairwind. I particularly loved these shots because they showed how well this Halios can be paired with any strap and make it take on a completely different look.

Finally we have @knights.watch with his new Glashutte Original Panomaticlunar in the stunning green dial. For anyone who has had the opportunity to see one of these in person knows how amazing the dials are and great they feel on the wrist The way the dial plays in the light and goes to a very dark green to almost black on the outer edge of the dial is truly amazing. Also this strap pairing is fire.

That is all for this week! Great shots to everyone! Keep tagging us at #scottishwatches to be featured next week and become ultra Instagram famous! I mean I’ve been featured and I can’t walk down the street without being stopped. See you next time!
