Welcome to the Scottish Watches Podcast – Episode 370! It’s that time of the week and we are joined by UK Sam, US Sam, and not Sam Lucy. It’s been almost a year since we’ve had them on the show but things have progressed. Now that they are all working the watch industry in various capacities lets catch up with what they’ve been up to.

Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Selfwinding Carolina Bucci For the current Rainbow dial version (34mm) the multi-colored rainbow design has been created by micro-structuring the top of the brass dial while adding a golden metallic treatment on the back of the sapphire crystal that lies on top of the dial plate. It’s indeed quite an elaborate way but it worked out brilliantly well. 
Breaking News: Jean Claude Biver has signed on with Norqain in an advisory role. Norqain has grown rapidly over the past couple of years and it’s ready to take the next step with this renowned industry heavyweight. Mr. Biver had previously revitalized brands like Blancpain, Omega, Hublot & TAG Heuer and it’ll be interesting to see what he can do with a relative newcomer albeit one with a very solid foundation.
